Institute of Art Studies launches a new series of monographs

De Artibus Monographiae (DAM), a new series of the Institute of Art Studies, BAS, seeks to publish works by researchers, part of the Institute’s research plan, which have been discussed by the research groups, reviewed, approved by the Science Council and recommended to be published. The small-circulation series, intended for strictly professional readerships and libraries, is supposed to have a unified, academic, non-commercial, but recognisable design and similar text layouts. The works aim to present the topical problematique explored by the researchers. The unified and stylish design relies on recognisability.
The first book of DAM, Christian Cryptography. A Functional Typology of Cryptograms in Orthodox Art by Emmanuel Moutafov (214 pp.) will be something like an advanced issue.
