Art Hour: Children’s animation workshop

A children’s animation workshop will be conduced by Assoc. Prof. Radostina Neykova, on 13 May 2016 (Friday), 2:00pm–4:30pm at the Institute of Art Studies. Under the Bulgarian Artists for Children: Binka Vazova project, kids will have to invent stories about the artist’s characters to then make paper cutouts of those characters and study the specific motion of each of them. The next task is to use stop frame animation techniques, where children get familiarised with the specifics of animation motion, work with camera, editing, sound, music, etc.
Children aged 7 to 15 are eligible; online applications at infoartstudies@gmail.com
