A viva voce examination

Stavri Angelov, a part-time PhD student, Department of Music, gave his presentation before the academic panel, colleagues and other attendees on 8 September 2016. His thesis on Bulgarian musical-theatre works for children of the second half of the twentieth century. Typological and genre characteristics. Stage record received two positive reviews by Prof. Boyanka Arnaudova and Assoc. Prof. Stefka Venkova, PhD, and three positive statements by Prof. Anelia Yaneva, DSc (thesis supervisor); Assoc. Prof. Violeta Gorcheva, PhD, and Assoc. Prof. Nikolay Gradev, PhD.
The academic panel unanimously awarded the educational and academic PhD degree in Musicology and the Art of Music to Stavri Angelov.
