Art Hour: Prof. Rina Lapidus delivers a lecture on Jews in Bulgarian Film

Prof. Rina Lapidus, Bar-Ilan University, Tel Aviv, Israel, will deliver a lecture on Jews in Bulgarian Film on 27 May 2019, 2:00 pm, Hall 1, Institute of Art Studies, 21 Krakra St, as part of the Institute’s Art Hour initiative, held for several years now for wider audiences of art-loving cognoscenti.
Prof. Rina Lapidus was born to a Jewish family in Moscow, USSR. Her family emigrated to Israel in her teen years. She received her PhD and MA degrees from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel. Presently, Professor at Department of Comparative Literature, Bar-Ilan University, Faculty of the Humanities, Tel Aviv, Israel. She has authored and edited over 11 books and tens of articles; presented hundreds of papers at conferences across the world, receiving prestigious awards in Israel.
