New materials on the website of the Archives of the Institute of Art Studies

In anticipation of the second stage of the project Construction and development of the “Heritage BG” Centre of Excellence, the team of the Interactive Map of the Arts in Bulgaria Laboratory continues to work on the digitization and public presentation of materials from the scientific archives of the IAS. In recent months, more than 1,200 units with attached audio files and images have been prepared and uploaded to the Archive’s first-stage site (https://archive.artstudies.bg/).
More than 1,000 documents were added to the database of the Folklore Music Archive, presenting songs and instrumental melodies from Sandanski, Gotse Delchev, Elin Pelin, Lovech, Karlovo, Elhovsko, Yambol, Provadia, and Tutrakan regions. (https://archive.artstudies.bg/FolklorMusicArchive/List)
The new materials in the Architecture Archive’s database are related to sites from Silistra, Nessebar, Koprivshtitsa, Smolyan, Elena, Byala Cherkva, Varna and Varna, Karlovo, Karnobat, Tarnovo, Troyan, Boyana, and others.
