Mobility under the Erasmus+ Programme of Prof. Kamelia Nikolova, PhD, from the Theatre Sector
From 10 to 14 May 2025, Prof. Kamelia Nikolova visited the Department of Theatre and Film Studies at the University of Olomouc in the Czech Republic. Her stay was under the Erasmus+ program for training, study, and research on the experience of the teaching team of the department in the field of history of Czech and European theatre, modern theatre studies, and the creation, preservation, and maintenance of theatre archives. During her visit, she lectured on the history and contemporary development of the Bulgarian theatre and held a number of working meetings with Assoc. Prof. Martin Bernatek, PhD, former Head of the Department of Theatre and Film Studies, with its current head, as well as with the other members of the Department, during which she got acquainted in detail with the team's structure, work, and research projects. Particularly fruitful were the specially organised discussions with representatives of major institutions that create, maintain, and develop theatrical archives in the Czech Republic. Valuable contacts were made, and fruitful opportunities for future collaboration between the Department of Theatre and Film Studies at the University of Olomouc and the Institute of Art Studies were discussed. A Memorandum of Cooperation between the two institutions will also be signed, which was discussed during the visit.
