The Music Sector will celebrate the 150th anniversary of the birth of Dobri Hristov

The scientific conference "Dobri Hristov and His Time" (15.12.2025 from 9.00 to 17.00 in Hall 1 of the Institute of Art Studies) will present the latest research on his fundamental work as a composer, musicologist, and musician.
At the concert of the Mixed Choir at the Patriarchal Cathedral of St. Alexander Nevsky (15.12.2025 from 18.00 in the hall "Prof. Marin Drinov" Hall at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences), works by Dobri Hristov and Angel Popkonstantinov will be performed.
The co-organisers of the event are the Institute of Art Studies and the Patriarchal Cathedral of St. Alexander Nevsky, with the blessing of His Holiness Daniel, Patriarch of Bulgaria and Metropolitan of Sofia.
