Art and Context 2025 Published

The collection of the 8th Youth Scientific Conference "Art and Context" 2025 has been published. The conference was held on February 25, 2025.
Among the main priorities of the Institute of Art Studies is to encourage young scholars to present their expert work and create an environment for the exchange of ideas and research perspectives.
The publication includes the texts of the participants in the 8th Youth Scientific Conference Art and Context 2025 – doctoral students and young scholars from the Institute of Art Studies, NATFA "Krastyo Sarafov", Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski", NBU, National Academy of Arts, South-West University "Neofit Rilski", etc. The wide range of academic institutions was also reflected in the thematic richness of the texts – from the cinematic image of James Bond, through jewellery, music and dance, sculpture, Eastern arts and religions, to archival heritage. The published texts are 42 in Bulgarian and English.
The conference and the publication of the collection are carried out with the financial support of the National Culture Fund under contract No. KRI-E-2024-1 05/11/2024.
