Scholars from the IAS give public lectures on the early film culture of Plovdiv

On 18 and 19 December this year, at 17:00 in the conference hall at the exhibition hall  “2019” of the City Art Gallery – Plovdiv, scholars from the Screen Arts Sector of the Institute of Art Studies at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences presented in a series of lectures their latest research on the topic “Plovdiv in early Bulgarian cinema and film culture”. 
The public events were realised within the project of the Screen Arts Sector at the Institute of Art Studies-BAS “Cinema Culture, Arts and National Images in Bulgaria (KINO.BG). Formation of the Public Importance of Film Culture in the Period Between the Two World Wars”, with state support under contract No. КП-06-Н60/6 of 16.11.2021 with the Scientific Research Fund.
