Exhibition and lecture under the KINO.BG project in Stara Zagora
On January 22, 2026, the exhibition Cinema Advertising 1920–1940 opened in the lobby of the Zahariy Knyazheski Regional Library – Stara Zagora. The next day, Prof. Alexander Donev, DSc., coordinator of the project, gave a lecture on "Formation of Bulgarian Film Culture in the Period Between the Two World Wars", presenting some of the results in connection with the current research on the topic.
The public events were realised within the project of the Screen Arts Sector at the Institute of Art Studies-BAS “Cinema Culture, Arts and National Images in Bulgaria (KINO.BG). Formation of the Public Importance of Film Culture in the Period Between the Two World Wars”, with state support under contract No. КП-06-Н60/6 of 16.11.2021 with the Scientific Research Fund.
