Anniversary collection in honor of the prominent art historian Prof. Bisserka Penkova will be presented in Sofia, May 8, 2026

On May 8 (Friday) 2026, at 6:30 PM the collection “ΡΗΤΟΡΙΣΣΑ. Studies in Honor of Prof. Bisserka Penkova“, published by the Institute of Art Studies at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, will be presented at the Sofia City Art Gallery.
The volume reflects the wide range of interests of the jubilarian and collects articles and studies from various fields across the humanities – art historians, philologists, restorers, and archaeologists from Bulgaria, Germany, Russia, North Macedonia, and Serbia. The academic editor is Prof. DSc Anna-Maria Totomanova (Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”).
