Golden Age Award for Professor Alexander Donev, DSc.

At an official ceremony at the National Gallery – The Palace on 20 May, the Minister of Culture Evtim Miloshev presented the Golden Age awards. The awards were given on the occasion of the Day of the Holy Brothers Cyril and Methodius, the Bulgarian alphabet, education and culture, and Slavic literature. More than 40 artists and figures from different fields of culture and art have received the prestigious awards for their contribution to the development of Bulgarian culture and spirituality. Among the winners this year is Professor Alexander Donev, DSc., member of the Screen Arts Sector of the Institute of Art Studies at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.
