“Musical and Cultural Practices” Seminar

The second 2026 edition of the seminar "Musical and Cultural Practices" of the Department of Music will take place on June 5, 2026, at 12:30 PM, in Conference Hall 1 of the Institute of Art Studies, BAS.

Prof. Miglena Tzenova, PhD, from the "Musical Contemporaneity" Research Group at the Department of Music will present her lecture entitled: The Invisible Form of Things / Air 【形隐】 by Composer Assen Avramov and the Cosmological “Relation” of Nature – Music in Chinese and Japanese Cultures.

All scholars and PhD students from the Institute of Art Studies, BAS, as well as colleagues with research interests related to the thematic scope of the lecture, are cordially invited.
