The jubilee exhibition occasioned by Pencho Koichev’s 140th anniversary visits Pazardjik

Following its unveiling at the Club of Architects, Sofia in end-March, and its display at Botevgrad Regional History Museum, the exhibition occasioned by Pencho Koichev’s 140th anniversary opens doors on 11 May at Pazadjik Regional History Museum. Concurrently, a book on the famous Bulgarian architect and designer of the emblematic of Pazardjik Old Post Office will be presented. The show is part of the biggest events in the city’s calendar: the city’s holiday, 21 May; the Day of Bulgarian Letters, 24 May and the Long Night of Museums. The unveiling ceremony will be attended by Assoc. Prof. Maria Davcheva; Assoc. Prof. Stella Tasheva; Assoc. Prof. Nevena Koicheva; Prof. Velichko Minekov; Trendafil Velichkov, Pazardjik District Governor; Stefan Mirev, District Vice-Governor; Todor Popov, Mayor of Pazardjik; architect Krustio Tankov, Pazardjik Chief Architect; Boris Hajjiski, Director of the Regional History Museum, Chairman of the Managing Board of the Bulgarian Museums Association; Luchezar Rikov, Director of the Regional Library; representatives of the Steering Committee on the Reconstruction of the Old Post Office and of the local media.
