Scientific conference CINEMA IN BULGARIA BETWEEN THE TWO WORLD WARS: INFLUENCES AND INTERACTIONS WITH ARTS, MEDIA, AND INSTITUTIONS

In Bansko, from 9 to 11 May, a scientific conference with the title CINEMA IN BULGARIA BETWEEN THE TWO WORLD WARS: INFLUENCES AND INTERACTIONS WITH ARTS, MEDIA, AND INSTITUTIONS was held, organized by the Institute of Art Studies at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences with the support of the Scientific Research Fund (contract No. КП-06-Н60/6 of 16.11.2021).
The conference took place in five working sessions, at which 15 reports were presented, followed by a concluding discussion. A plenary report on The Manifestos of Late Bulgarian Modernism and the Avant-Garde. Literary History Reconstruction was presented by Associate Professor Elka Traykova (Institute of Literature, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences). Participants included scholars from the Institute of Art Studies at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski", New Bulgarian University, NATFA Krastyo Sarafov, South-West University Neofit Rilski, University of Forestry, and Bulgarian National Film Archive.
