A viva voce examination for awarding the educational and academic degree of PhD

Svetlana Kuyumdjieva, a PhD student, Department of Fine Arts, gave her presentation before the academic panel, colleagues and other attendees on 21 January 2016. Her thesis on Genesis and transformations of Socialist Realism in Bulgarian fine arts in the 1950s and the 1960s. Theory and Practice received two positive reviews by Assoc. Prof. Arch. Veselina Penevska and Assoc. Prof. Natalia Hristova and three positive statements by Assoc. Prof. Valentina Ganeva-Marazova, Prof. Milena Georgieva (thesis supervisor), and Prof. Svilen Stefanov, DSc.
The academic panels unanimously awarded the educational and academic DSc degree in Art History and Fine Arts to Svetlana Kuyumdjieva.
